Ukonwabele Ukutya Kwakho
"Ukonwabele ukutya kwakho" is isiXhosa for "Enjoy your meal." And when finished, be prepared to say, "ndihluthi" ("I'm full"). Recently, food has taken on new meaning, as I cook it, eat it, and learn from it. Food has a way of bringing people together, and develops an identity enhanced by those who prepare it and the cultures it feeds. While I may be full after I cook, I am always hungry for culinary experiences with others. "Ukuhamba kukufunda," means "Travelling is learning." And so is eating.

Bon apétit !
